🇨🇼 Why Curaçao?

Curaçao is the Caribbean's most underrated destination. Located outside the hurricane belt, the island enjoys year-round sunshine. Willemstad is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with famously colorful row houses. The diving here is some of the best in the Western Hemisphere.

📍 Willemstad: Walk the Colors

Willemstad is split into Punda and Otrobanda by St. Anna Bay. The famous colored Dutch colonial row houses line the harbor. The Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge swings open to let ships pass — crossing it is a quintessential Curaçao experience.

🤿 Diving & Snorkeling

Curaçao's west coast has a wall dive that drops thousands of feet — one of the most impressive dives in the world. The Curaçao Underwater Marine Park protects pristine reef. Even non-divers can snorkel from the beach at Tugboat Beach and Cas Abao with visibility up to 100 feet.

🦩 Klein Curaçao & Flamingos

Klein Curaçao is an uninhabited island 90 minutes by boat — pristine white sand, shipwrecks, and turtles. Flamingo Beach at Jan Kok salt flats has wild flamingos. Arrive early morning for the best sighting.

🍹 The Blue Curaçao Experience

The famous Blue Curaçao liqueur is made here from the laraha citrus fruit. Visit the Chobolobo Estate (Senior Curaçao Distillery) for a tour and tasting in a beautiful old colonial estate.

🏖️ Best Beaches

Playa Kenepa Grandi is the postcard-perfect beach. Cas Abao has excellent snorkeling. Mambo Beach Boulevard is the main beach club scene.

📘 Getting There

Fly into Hato International Airport (CUR). US citizens do not need a visa. Currency is the Netherlands Antillean guilder but USD and EUR are widely accepted. Curaçao is outside the hurricane belt — safe year-round.
