📘 Passport Required

US citizens need a valid passport to enter Jamaica. Make sure yours is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. Apply or renew early — processing takes 8–11 weeks.

💰 Currency Tips

Jamaican Dollar is the local currency but USD is widely accepted. Carry small bills for local vendors and tips. Most resort purchases can be done with a card.

🏨 Hotel Selection by Budget

All three Riu properties share one beachfront complex. Riu Montego Bay is the budget-friendly option (no access to other properties). Riu Reggae and Riu Palace are upgrades with more amenities and pool access. Choose what fits your budget!
