I didn't grow up dreaming of far-off places — but the moment I experienced my first real cultural immersion, something shifted in me. Learning how other countries live, eat, celebrate, and connect opened my eyes in ways no classroom ever did.
There's something irreplaceable about sitting at a local table, eating food you can't pronounce, surrounded by people whose lives look nothing like yours — and realizing that underneath everything, we're not that different at all. That feeling became my obsession.
I started A Dose of Travels in 2019 as an outlet for that obsession. A place where I could share the real destinations, the hidden gems, the local businesses, the experiences that most tourists walk right past. Not just a vacation — a transformation.
